I remember when I was young and my mother would tell me that I would in no way have the same friends ever again. And that the Spice Girls would break up and fall off the earth. And nothing ever stays the same. And I would fight with her until my face turned blue out of disbelief.
And of course she was right. How could she have been right?
How do you lose touch so quickly? Can blame be placed on anyone?
10 days. You know. I hope you know.
I'm going to North Carolina. And Tenessee. That's 2 more for the list, and then a week later, I'm gone.

Wow....I graduated. This is so odd...
Sorry this is so small. It's only the proof. I'd have to pay about 90 bucks to buy the real deal.
Soooo I got...

From Schmoody. His name is diploma but I call him Chip.
From Tootie. Since when does my cat drive and have like $50??? Good Tootie...
Amy Bag in Java Blue from Miss Bailey. She knows me too well. Also included a Card Case in Hope Toile and a Hard Eyeglass Case in Bermuda Blue. YESSS!
The Mini in Chelsea Green from Senior Celebration. Nice door prize.

The Carry-all in Java Blue from Grandma. This bag looks smaller than the others but is actually big enough for my schoolbooks and...
A LAPTOP! I didn't get it yet but I got a coupon to pick one of my choice. I really want a Sony Vaio but they're mad expensive. This is a Compaq Turion. I looked at them last nite and they are nice and small.
WOOOOOOO! Plus you know, tons of money. Holler.

SOOOOO what a DAY! I went to the gym then tanning, and as I was pulling into my driveway afterward, I realized I forgot my rings (My class ring is almost $400, and the one Ryan got me is PRICELESS!) I didn't even go inside I just went straight back. Someone was in the bed I used, so I had to wait, and after they left, I checked the room and found nothing. I was FLIPPING out and I checked several times. The girl said there was nothing she could do. They couldn't solicit their customers or give me the name or number. All they could do was confront the person the next time they came back. I went home, very downtrodden. My grandparents' friends the Burkowskys were just arriving and immediately upon hearing what happened, told me to call the police. I was reluctant, but agreed. I met a deputy at the tanning salon and he asked me a bunch of questions and then went inside and I had to wait by his car. He came out and told me he had a name and information on the person. Then, he asked if I wanted to prosecute. Due to the worth of the property, if this person was guilty, they would be charged with Grand Theft, which is a felony. The minimum sentence is probation, the maximum being 5 years in prison. I said I thought that was a heavy charge, but then Officer Walsh told me that if I should decide not to prosecute, there woul be no investigation, only a report and and "I'm sorry" on his behalf. IN THAT CASE...I decided to prosecute. He then said "In that case, I'm off to the trailer park". I immediately knew that this person had stolen my jewelery. Shortly thereafter, I got the call that he had recovered my property and he would drop it by my house. When he arrived, we discussed prosecution and I decided to press with a "Non- Arrest Inquest" which means that I want to press charges, but do not think that it is serious enough for this person to do jail time.
Next time I hear from Officer Walsh will be to learn about the court date. I feel a little bad, but I want to look this person in the eye.
EXCITEMENT!

Soooo, turns out, as I'm pulling into work at 10 am, that I don't have to work after all. I mean, I could for time and a half if I wanted to, but there would be NOTHING to do. And I'd rather have my last day of vacation than a little more money.
So, thinking last nite. I am going to graduate this year, turn 18 this year, go to college this year. This is going to be a scared year. I am afraid that this is the last year I'll have with my cat. That is the worst part. He is all I have left of my life with my mother. She convinced me at a very early age that this cat was my brother. And obviosly, he's a cat, he's not BUT HE IS. He's my baby brother and I''m so incredibly afraid to lose him.
We'll cross that bridge when we come to it..

+1
Ran into Val at the mall and hung out with her, after being asked out by a 27 year-old I'd just met in Claire's. He wanted me to go upstairs for Greek food, so I just stuck my ring in his face. And he's like "what's that?" and I'm like "my Christmas present from my boyfriend" and he's like "oh, so you're kind of engaged?" and I'm like "yeah" and he's like "oh good luck with that, nice talking to you. bye"
And I'm like YEAH.

SOOOO you know it was deali-shopping day. I got no deals, but I did get 4 new shirts, and it only cost me about $120!!! Hahaha...that's what Hollister and Express will do to you
Shit, check out that rock. Got this one at AE.
That's my mommy on the necklace. My grandparents got me that yesterday. And that's actually the shirt I got yesterday too.

Only $52 at Express! HOTTT.
Hollister, of course. The other one I got there is just a peach/orange polo.
I've wanted to take a picture of that for soooo long. It's some realtor's name. It's up in the mall and I finally had my camera.

I opened my "out-of-town" gifts tonite. I got ...
*A talking Napoleon Dynamite doll and a ND car magnet from my uncle. I'm not really a fan of that movie, but apparently my uncle thought I was. He's usually the one who buys me CDs and stuff I want that no one else will get me.
*A LEATHER PURSE!!!! from my grandma's best friend, my "Aunt Pat". WTF!!! Vegan-ish HERE!
*And a really nice watch from my dad. The band is huge. The face is huge. It looks like a man's watch and I'm quie sure he spent at least $100 on it. I do not wear watches. I told him this when he asked me if I did about a month ago. I have a collection of ones I've been given that I have never ever worn.
SOOOOOOOO I cried. I have never gotten so many USELESS things in my LIFE. Needless, to say, I think these will all be re-gifted. Hate to sound ungrateful, it IS the thought that counts, but it seems to me that NO ONE was THINKING!!!! At least my sisters loved their Hollister gift card and Bratz doll. Oh my god the madness.

HERE IT IS!!!!! My 3rd annual online HOLIDAY CARD!!!!!!!

Plus, you know, some added holiday fun from work last nite.

There actually was some little boy last nite, named Jesus (Haysoos) haha, having an unscheduled party. Poor child. Anyway, I was given a free cake from some family who didn't want to finish theirs, and after it was all clean and closed, the real party started back up, Charlene and Deundrae racing EVERYTHING, me in the photo booth. CAKE and leftover balloons, leftover salad bar for me, leftover canadian bacon pizza and hotdogs for the rest. I love my job. Merry Christmas Eve and Erev Hanukkah!
